BIBLE READING PLAN

At the Table, one of our most important values is a passionate pursuit of God. We desire to make intimacy with God our highest priority. We give our time and energy to pursue many things; the most important thing we can give ourselves away to is a relationship with Jesus.

As a community, we want to pursue reading the Bible as a congregation. Whether you have read the Bible a little or none at all, we invite you to join us.

Focus on the quality of reading the scriptures, not the quantity. As you read, please give yourself grace if you miss a day or two. If you get behind, give yourself grace to either be behind or to move forward through the scriptures.

The goal is for us to spend time pursuing the Lord. We believe there is great value in reading the Bible together as a congregation. Reading collectively through the scriptures, experiencing and learning from one another, is reminiscent of the early followers of Jesus in Acts. They devoted themselves to the apostle's teaching and the reading of the scriptures. Let it be said of us that we pursue the Lord with the same type of passion and devotion.
